First Impressions

Before beginning a profession photoshoot, I find it essential to #1, get to know my client!  I ask the basic questions, as in, “What do you expect your image to speak to your clients?”.  Additionally, I find it of top importance to get a look into their personality.  The images must stay true to who they are!

I recently had the pleasure to create a professional shoot with Stephanie Colant.  Stephanie is the Owner and Talent of “The Designer’s Envelope”.  I approached Stephanie asking if she would mind being the subject of my next blog post.   Agreeing, Stephanie has given us her thoughtful insights on professional images and business.

Dawn:  Why a professional photo shoot?

Stephanie:  Professional photos are vital for anyone who puts time and effort into the work they do. It is essential to have their photographs represent as high of quality as the work itself.

Dawn:  What is the image you want to reflect with your professional photos?

Stephanie:  I want the photos to represent a vitality, positive energy, joie de vivre, professional and confident.

Dawn:  What do you expect that your professional photos will say about your brand as a whole:

Stephanie:  Our brand as a whole should reflect positivity, joyfulness and functionality.  We want our brand to be as unique as the people we represent.

Dawn:  What is The Designer’s Envelope’s philosophy?

Stephanie:  We seek to make Your Home, Your Haven!  Each home should reflect the people who live there.

Dawn:  What is your tag line?

Stephanie:  Creating Designer spaces that represent the individual client.

I would like to say Thank You to Stephanie!  It has been a pleasure working with you!
